Rail Vacuum Ejector Waste System
Constant vacuum provides unmatched reliability with Monogram's venturi
ejector waste system having logged millions of operational hours. This system is
ideal for one or two toilets per rail car.
Monogram provides a variety of configurations and tank
capacities to meet customer requirements. All configurations
of the ejector waste system use only 8 oz. of water per
flush cycle. The modular design of components and under
car tank installation offer the possibility of increased
tank capacity based on available space.
Rail Vacuum Pump Waste System
Monogram introduced water flush vacuum system technology
in North America for Amtrak's Superliner I Fleet of Cars
in the mid 1970's. Ever since that time, Monogram has lead
the industry with the most reliable waste systems, consistently
exceeding customers' expectations.
Monogram's railcar applied vacuum waste collection systems
are based on the concept of Constant Vacuum. This principle
negates the possibility of lavatory odors entering the
passenger compartment of the car. Using only 8 ounces
of water, each flush is pulled immediately to the waste
collection tank. Monogram engineers developed the under
car tank installation due to space limitations. The under
car tank is normally used on single level coach and sleeping
cars.
